RRB NTPC 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

The educational qualification for RRB NTPC posts are tabulated below:

RRB NTPC Recruitment 2018: Educational Qualification

Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline from any recognized university can apply for the job.

The candidates must be proficient in typing.

Candidates applying for the post of Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, and Senior Time Keeper must have a type speed of 30 words per minute in English and 25 words per minute in Hindi.

Candidates applying for the post of Traffic Assistant and Assistant Station Masterhave to appear for Aptitude Test after qualifying the written test.

 

Age Limits

The minimum age required for candidates to apply for RRB NTPC jobs is 18 years. The upper age limit is 32 years. There is an age relaxation of 3 years for OBC candidates, 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for ex-serviceman.

RRB NTPC 2018 Syllabus :

RRB NTPC Syllabus 2018 basically included General Knowledge, General English/ General Hindi, Basic Arithmetic, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical skills, and basic technical part for technical posts. It will comprise of 100 questions of 1 mark each. The exam will be conducted in two stages RRB NTPC 1st stage CBT or Prelims and RRB NTPC 2nd stage CBT or Mains. RRB NTPC Admit Card 2018 :

As per the revealed updates, RRB NTPC 2018 first stage examination will be conducted after one or two or application form submission. RRB will release NTPC First Stage Admit card before 7 to 10 days of examination on the official website. The second stage examination will be conducted after two months of prelims exam result declaration. So, likewise 1st stage exam RRB NTPC 2018 Admit Card for 2nd stage exam will be released on the official website before some days of examination. However, only those candidates will be able to download 2nd stage admit card, who will get eligible marks in RRB NTPC 1st stage examination.

 

RRB NTPC Result 2018 :

The Railway Recruitment Board will conduct NTPC 1st stage examination after 2 months of the application form submission and 2nd stage examination in 2018. Therefore, As per the information, RRB NTPC Result 2018 will be declared after one or two months examination on the official website and candidates will be able to check their result by using their roll number and name. Only those candidates will be shortlisted for 2nd stage examination who will clear stage 1st exam according to the cut off marks. When the Railway Recruitment Board announce RRB NTPC 1st Stage Result 2018, we will update here.

Study Plan for General Awareness

  • You are provided with total 90 minutes for 120 questions, and you can give 45 seconds to per  question.

  • Set your target to solve 40 questions (30 seconds per question) and you can complete General Awareness section within 20 minutes. You can secure 34.66 marks if you solve the questions with 90% accuracy.

  • After you have attempted 40 questions, try to solve the remaining questions taking time you are left with. Attempting the questions with 85% accuracy, you can score 39.33 marks in this section.

 

General Science:

  • A better preparation can be done by making a proper study plan of all the subjects in a separate manner.

  • You must give 2 hours daily practice for General Science preparation.

  • Try not to learn all the topics as it can lead to cramming and ultimately risk being under prepared.

  • Revise the topics on regular basis that you have complete earlier.

  • Give Mock Tests and analyze the weaker topics of yours and again attempt those topics.

  • Attempt the questions for which you are sure about.
