SBI Clerk Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of SBI Clerk 2018 exam is mainly about two pre-requisites:

A candidate is required to be between 20-28 years to be eligible for SBI Clerk 2018 exam.

He/shemust hold a valid degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

A candidate is required to be: A citizen of India, A subject of Nepal, A subject of Bhutan, A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of settling permanently in India or a person of Indian origin who migrated to India from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, Vietnam and have the intention of settling permanently in India.

SBI Clerk Exam Centre
The SBI Clerk exam is held online at various centers all over India and the candidates can mention their options at the time of filling in the online application. Though there is non-availability of seats at preferred venues yet SBI allows an exam center other than the choices made by a candidate.
SBI is the only authority to add or remove an exam center. The candidates can’t make any request for the change of the exam center. Any indecent behavior at the examination center can lead to cancellation of the application.
Selection Procedure
The selection process of SBI Clerk consists of 2 phases (preliminary and mains). The candidates must qualify each of them to go on to the next phase.

•Online Preliminary Examination:
Sufficient number of candidates in each category is shortlisted by SBI depending upon the requirements for Online Main Examination
•Online Mains Examination:
Candidates need to qualify each section as well as the overall cut-off in the main exam to be eligible for the Final Selection.
•Final Result:
The Final result is declared on the basis of merit list in SBI Clerk Mains Exam.
•Provisional Allotment:
The provisional allotment of the eligible candidate is released on the official website. The SBI allots Banks to the candidates on the basis of the preferences they have made at the time of the online registration.
SBI plays its role in the selection process till the provisional selection to different banks. Further, the responsibility to inform the qualified candidates about their joining dates and procedure lies with the respective banks.
SBI Clerk Vacancies 2018
Every year more than 25 lakh aspirants appear for the SBI Clerk examination. The Online Registration for SBI Clerk is from 20 January 2018 to 10 February 2018. There are 8301 vacancies for the post of Clerical.

Phase-I: SBI CLERK 2018 PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

The SBI Clerk Mains is also held online, the latest update by SBI it has 4 sections there is 190 Question having a total score of 200 marks of 160 minutes duration.SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern
The candidates must attempt the sections in the same order and within the allotted time fixed by the examining body. The candidate can’t leave the existing section before the time allotted. The next section can only be attempted after the current section is completed. There is a negative marking with a deduction of 0.25 marks for every mistake.

Penalty for Wrong Answers:
A penalty for every incorrect answer will be marked in the Objective Tests of both Preliminary and Mains exams. Every wrong answer will be penalized by deducting 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question. There will be no penalty for leaving a question blank, i.e. in case no answer is marked by the candidate.
Final Score Calculation for SBI Clerk Exam:
There are certain important points on the basis of which the final score for the SBI Clerk exam is calculated:
• Marks scored in the Preliminary Exam (Tier-1) will not be considered in the final score. These are only taken into account to qualify Mains Exam (Tier-2).
• Candidates need to qualify Phase-2
• The aggregate of 100 marks is used for the final merit list for each category. Candidates with high merit rank in each category are finally selected.
SBI Clerk 2018 Admit Card & Call Letter
Candidates who have registered for SBI CLERK EXAM 2018 need to download their admit card from the official website of SBI before the exam. The suitable date for the download will be notified by the SBI at your email id well in advance to avoid any delay or confusion at the last minute. The admit card will have two stages one is for preliminary exam and the other is for mains exam.

SBI Clerk 2018 Results
The results of SBI will be released after completion of two Phase of Examination. The Final Merit state wise and category wise List shall be prepared in descending order of the marks secured by the candidates in the Online Main Examination. Candidates who fall within the number of vacancies in the merit list shall be considered for appointment for the post of clerk in Banks.

SBI Clerk Results 2018
SBI Clerk Result 2018 will be declared once the both phases are concluded. SBI will publish results individually for both preliminary and mains exam.
