SSC MTS Notification 2018
Staff Selection Commission of India will be releasing Official SSC MTS Notification 2018 soon. With the release of notification, exam pattern, vacancy, eligibility and other related details will be declared. Candidates can check the official notification by clicking on the link that will be mentioned on this page after it has been released by SSC.
SSC MTS 2018 Eligibility Criteria
There are three major criteria that a candidate is required to fulfil in order to be eligible for SSC MTS 2017 Exam. Let’s have a look at all these three criteria:

Person of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Afganistan , Kenya, Tanzania, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam
Age: A candidate must be of minimum 18 years of age and must not exceed 25 years of age as on 01.08.2018. Apart from the pre mentioned Age Requirement, candidates belonging to reserved categories are given age relaxation as per Government Rules.

SSC MTS 2017 Exam Centre
The notification for SSC MTS 2017 was released on 31st December 2016. SSC conducts SSC MTS 2017 Exam every year at various centres all across the country.Candidates are given the option to select the centre of their choice while filling in the application form. The final allotment of the centre by SSC is done based on the choice of the candidate. If in any case there is unavailability of seat in the selected Centre, SSC will change the location as per the availability. Candidates do not hold the authority to question SSC for the same
SSC MTS 2017 Recruitment
SSC or Staff Selection Commission conducts Multi-Tasking Staff Exam (MTS) every year in 2 different stages:

Paper 1 and

Descriptive Test
It is mandatory for the candidate to qualify both these stages of examination in order to make it to the merit list prepared by SSC prepared at the end.
SSC MTS 2017 Vacancy
As per SSC MTS Notification 2017 was released on 31st December 2016, a total of 8300 vacancies were declared to be filled through SSC MTS 2017. But SSC released notice notifying an increase in overall vacancy of SSC MTS 2017. The vacancy was increased to 10,302. But, SSC again changed the number of vacancy for SSC MTS 2017. The new Vacancy of SSC MTS 2017 has been increased to 10,674. Students now have a golden opportunity to secure a position through SSC MTS 2017 Exam.

SSC MTS 2018 Exam Pattern
The examination of SSC MTS 2018 will be conducted in 2 different levels: Paper-1 and Paper-2.Paper-1 is an online exam which is objective multiple choice question type. Paper-2 is a pen and paper mode of examination which includes a descriptive paper in English or any other language listed in the government policies.
Paper-I
As SSC MTS 2018 is going to be conducted online, major changes have been made in the exam pattern of SSC MTS 2018 Exam. The number of questions asked in General Awareness and General English Section has been reduced from 50 to 25. The overall duration of completing the paper has also been reduced from 120 minutes to 90 minutes.

SSC MTS Complete Syllabus
SSC will be releasing the SSC MTS 2018 syllabus for SSC MTS 2018 in its notification. The syllabus for SSC MTS is different for both the stages of examination and it’s mandatory for students to know the entire syllabus in order to prepare effectively for SSC MTS 2017.Paper-1 of SSC MTS 2018 exam includes subjects such as Reasoning, English and General Awareness. Paper-2 is a descriptive essay writing test to check a candidate’s writing skill and speed.

SSC MTS Admit Card 2018
Admit card for SSC MTS 2018 will be issued sequentially to all candidates. Admit card for Paper-1 will be released first followed by Admit Card for Paper-2. SSC MTS Admit Card for Paper-2 will be issued to candidates who have successfully cleared the first phase of SSC MTS 2018 Exam. SSC MTS Result 2018
SSC will be declaring result for SSC MTS 2018 after the exam for each phase has been conducted by Staff Selection Commission of India. The Result of Paper-1 will decide the number of candidates eligible to give descriptive paper (Paper-2) of SSC MTS 2018 Exam.
